Frank L. Kruger, 100, of Boonville, formerly of Blackwater, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Cooper County Memorial Hospital in Boonville.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at Arrow Rock Cemetery, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Arrow Rock Cemetery. Born Sept. 3, 1909, in Saline County, he was the son of the late August Kruger and Elizabeth Kammeyer Kruger. He married Clara Jaeger, who preceded him in death. On July 2, 1936, he married Dorothy L. Moseley, who preceded him in death on Dec. 29, 2004. He had lived in the Blackwater area most of his life and attended Arrow Rock Federated Church. He was a retired farmer and trucker, having owned and operated Frank Kruger Trucking for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherry Stone of Boonville; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Leonard Kruger; one daughter, Clara Frances Loesing; one brother, Ray Kruger; and one sister, Grace Kruger.
