Saline County Relay for Life is still months away, but organizers are already fundraising for the event.

The Country Patchwork Quilt Guild donated a quilt to Relay, which will be raffled during the event. Tickets are available now for $1 each, or six for $5.

All proceeds from the tickets sold for Missouri Valley College's basketball game against Baker University on Saturday, Feb. 20, will also go to Relay. The game will be held in the Grover Redford Gymnasium beginning at 4 p.m.

Relay for Life is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, June 11, through 6 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Marshall High School. For more information, call Georgia Yates at 660-886-6543.
