Robert A. Wright, 67, of rural Marshall, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Private family graveside services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born Jan. 14, 1943, in Malta Bend, he was the son of the late Raymond E. Wright and Mary Mesdemes Stark Wright. He was a graduate of Malta Bend High School. On Jan. 20, 1990, he married Mary Taylor, who survives of the home. He had lived in rural Marshall most of his life and owned and operated Robert Wright Painting. He had served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Wright of Springfield; one son, Chas A. Wright of Marshall; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Earl Ray Wright of rural Marshall; two sisters, Barbara Fern Coats of Orrick and Beverly Case of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Chad Eugene Wright.
