Mohler, who was employed as a paramedic with Saline County Ambulance District No. 3 at the time of his arrest, was originally charged with class C felony use of a child in a sexual performance.
Since his arrest, Mohler has additionally been charged with class B felony sodomy and class B felony rape, all the charges stemming from incidents more than 20 years ago.
According to information in the probable cause statement, the victims, alleged to be one or more children related to Roland Mohler, his brothers, his father and an uncle, were forced by the men to engage in multiple sexual activities at a very young age.
The victims have also told authorities they were forced to engage in mock wedding ceremonies, after which they were molested and one said she was forced to have an abortion after she became pregnant at age 11.
Mohler's attorney, Richard D. Jacoby of Independence, has filed a request for a change of judge and a change of venue. The case is currently assigned to Circuit Court Judge Dennis A. Rolf. A motion hearing is scheduled for March 1, in Lafayette County.

The one that was forced to have an abortion, I wonder where this occured and who performed this "procedure"? Just curious as to if there are any medical records to support it or if it was some back alley procedure?
I find it interesting that either no evidence was found when they started digging up the farm that this allegedly occurred at or they aren't releasing any information regarding the evidence, since they made such a big deal about it during the initial arrest.
I'm not saying it did occur or it didn't (that's not for me to decide), but I think it's a question that needs to be asked.
