Earl E. Reinwald, 81, of Sioux Falls, S.D., died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Lee's Summit Hospital East in Lee's Summit.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs, with Rev. Dan Wing officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial with military rites will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Born Aug. 18, 1928, in Sweet Springs, he was the son of the late William Reinwald and Elva Zumbehl Reinwald. He had lived in Sioux Falls since 1971, moving from Kansas City, and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. He was a retired sales manager at Monroe Systems for Business. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post in Sioux Falls. He was a pilot and a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Survivors include three sons, Brian E. Reinwald of Brandon, S.D., and Randy Reinwald and David Reinwald, both of Sioux Falls, S.D.; one daughter, Deb Iverson of Orange City, Iowa; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Helt and Darlene Vogelsmeier, both of Marshall; one brother, Wilbert Reinwald of Concordia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson.
