Charles C. Garrison, 67, of Marshall, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Blue Lick Cemetery, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born July 24, 1942, in Boonville, he was the son of the late George Marshall Garrison Sr. and Susie Isabell Bledsoe Garrison. In 1960, he married Ruby Shran. In 1968, he met his second wife, Joyce McDaniel, who survives of the home. He had lived in Marshall most of his life and was a mechanic for many years at various businesses.
Additional survivors include five sons, Charles Garrison of Slater, David Garrison of the state of Kansas, and Ricky Garrison, John Garrison and Scott Garrison, all of Marshall; one daughter, Wendy Garrison; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, George Garrison, Isabelle Jackson and Lorene Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gene, Orvel, Elwood, Vest Lee, Opal, Ola May, Mart and Evelyn.
