Blackwater School District Board of Education has two positions of three years each on the April ballot. They are currently filled by Mark Danner and Jane Lorenz. Danner, Katherine Schuster, Ryan Watring and Lori Widel have filed as candidates.
In Gilliam, the three-year terms of school board members Sara Boston and Kevin Cramer are expiring. Boston, Cramer, Melissa Boston, John Thomason and Nathaniel Foster have signed up as candidates.
There are two seats, of three years each, open on the Hardeman School District board. Doug Borgman and Mike Jewell are currently in those positions. Jewell, Isaac Christy, Dann Russell, John Butcher and Stephen Borgman have filed as candidates.
On the Malta Bend School board, the three-year terms of Susan Jansen and Scott Moore and the two-year term of Casey Klein are due to be up for election on the April ballot. Only the incumbents have filed as candidates, so there will be no election.
Marshall School District Board of Education has two three-year terms open in the April election. Currently the seats are filled by Kathy Green and Cindy Brandt. Green, Daisy Hoover, Carl Daniel Murphree and Michael R. Mills have filed as candidates.
The Miami School District Board of Education has two three-year terms up for re-election, which are currently held by Kelly Sloan and Tammy Wilson. Margaret Hirt and Karen Wilson have filed as candidates for the positions.
Orearville School District board has two two-year terms open in the April election. The positions are currently filled by Robbie Thomas and Dick Adkison. Adkison is the only person to file as a candidate, which leaves the other seat to be filled by write-ins in the election or an appointment by the school board.
The Santa Fe School District includes parts of Saline County. It has two three-year school board positions on the April ballot, currently filled by Shane Lane and Randy Sleeper. Merle Dierking, Sleeper, Leslie Heimsoth, Melissa Madison and Steven Twiggs have signed up as candidates.
In Slater, school board members Joey Gochenhour and Larry Skinner are serving the terms that will expire in April. Gochenhour, Skinner, Darla Arni and Russel Kirby have filed as candidates.
Sweet Springs Board of Education has two three-year terms on the April ballot. Doug Vogelsmeier and Cindy Simms are those in the positions currently. Vogelsmeier and Donald Boland have filed as candidates.
