Adventures in Libraryland: Marshall Public Library 'food for fines' program to run Jan. 11-17

Thursday, January 7, 2010
The library's annual Food For Fines week starts Monday, Jan. 11, and will run through Sunday, Jan. 17.

Pull out those cans of food you didn't use over the holidays and bring them to the library. Each item is worth $1 towards your library fines. You can clear your account and help the local food pantry!

With the upcoming new year, the Marshall Public Library has decided to introduce a new story times for the children. We hope the new schedule offers the opportunity for parents to bring their children to the library at a time that is convenient for them.

Bouncing Babies is our laptime session designed for infants and babies up to 3 years old. We sing songs and have fingerplays. Join us on Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m.

Once your child turns 3 years old, it's time to come to Kinder-Ready. This story time is offered on Mondays at 10 a.m. and will build early literacy skills, improving their upcoming school experience.

Bedtime Stories is story time fun for all ages. Wear your pajamas and bring your blankets on Thursdays at 7 p.m.
