Caleb Lee Rader, 6 weeks old, of Sweet Springs, died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, at I-70 Medical Center in Sweet Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Sweet Springs. Burial will be in Blue Lick Cemetery south of Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church, and memorials may be made to the National SIDS Foundation in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born Nov. 10, 2009, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, he was the son of Joshua Lee Rader and Crystal Marie Dedrick of Sweet Springs.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Nakyla Dedrick, of the home; his grandparents, Howard "Butch" Rader and JoAnne Rader of Sweet Springs and John and Marsha Sitton Dedrick of Independence; great-grandparents, J.D. and Sandra Alspaw of Marshall, Cliff and Kay Snider of Lincoln and Emma Lee Dedrick of Chillicothe; one great-great-grandmother, Granny Reynolds of Tahlequah, Okla.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Arthur and Clara Sitton and John Elliott "Jack" Dedrick; paternal great-grandfather, Johnny Reynolds, and an uncle.
