Program for Sweet Springs Elementary School Christmas Program

Sweet Springs Elementary School students performed their Christmas program, "Joy to the World," Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the elementary school gym.

The kindergarten group's performance of "Whacky Old St. Nicholas" had Donavan Hoyes and Sydney Reynolds holding candy cane guitars. During "Christmas, Don't be Late," Emma Lea and Lyric Snider performed solos, and during "All I Want for Christmas," Zapher Lea and Melody Anderson performed solos.

Other kindergarteners in the performance included Christian Dotson, Adelyn Goodin, Katherine Green, Emilee Hall, Kiley Hedgpeth, Skyler Hertel, Arianna Jarvis, Dylan Keiz, Rachel Mapes, Elijah Marlin, Orion Miller, Madison Moore, Justin Nelson, Lexy Phegley, Keegan Brewer, Joseph Fizer, Colleen Holt, Cole Lovercamp, Makenna Reid, Kelin Sotelo, Harley Terry, Jaelyn Winfrey and Shane Winston

The group also sang "It's Santa Again," "Jingle Bells" and "It's a Small World."

In the first- and second-grade group, soloists for "Hello!" were Emma Sims and Rachel Vogelsmeier. For "My Dreydl," soloists were Zoie Lea, Cylan Rowlette and Dylan Hayworth. For "I'm a Dreydl," dreydls were portrayed by Cole Murphy, Wade Phillips, Cheyenne Meyer and Shohn Green. Soloists for "Chanukah Games" were Hunter Sims, Emma Sims and Addison Snider. "Joyous Chanukah" had Monique Riley and Kendall Marlin as soloists, and "One More Candle" had soloists Addison Snider and Crystal Gilmore.

In the third- and fourth-grade choir, soloists were Lauren Eagle and Brooke Conner on "Mi Casa, Su Casa;" Kathryn Hollingsworth, Hannah Viets and Taylor Dodds on "Donde Esta Santa Claus;" Sydney Vaught and Bailey Welch on "Love in Any Language;" Hannah Wood, Taylor Dodds and Katelyn Evans on "The Christmas Season;" and Lacey Taylor and Emileigh Franks on "Buenos Noches."

Besides songs previously mentioned, this group also sang "Hello to all the Children of the World," "La Raspa" and "Al Quebrar la Piņata."

Soloists for the fifth- and sixth-grade chorus' performance of "Masters in this Hall" were Rhett Snider, Morgan Roberts, Hayleigh Marlin and Gabe Cox. For "Kuwa Na Krismasi Njema," soloists were Gabe Cox, Rhett Snider, Hayleigh Marlin and Kasandra Clark. On "Multicultural Polar Puppies," soloists were Dameron Taylor, Gabe Cox, Corey Morgan and Tyler Harper. Hayleigh Marlin and Tyler Harper performed solos on "Wouldn't It Be Nice?"

Other songs performed by this group -- which also included Kalen Hoyes, Brandon Sotelo, Dameron Taylor, Caleb Martin and Michael White -- were "Christmas Kum Ba Ya," "We Need a Little Christmas" and "Ode to Joy."
