David Patrick Rimmer.

David Patrick Rimmer, 47, of Billings, formerly of Marshall, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, in Christian County.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Malta Bend Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to family choice. Born Aug. 25, 1962, in Marshall, he was the son of Steve Rimmer, who survives of Marshall, and Bonnie Daugherty Sawyer, who survives of Pottsborough, Texas. He was a graduate of Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas, and was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a tank commander. He had lived in Billings the last few years and was a power line construction worker for many years.

Additional survivors include one daughter, Bonnie McCord and husband, Jason, of Glasgow; one sister, Gale Hunter of Ft. Worth, Texas; two brothers, Buddy Rimmer of Warsaw and Ken Rimmer of Marshall; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
