Angela M. Day, 82, of Marshall, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Private family services will be held Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or the special care unit at The Living Center, in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
Born Sept. 2, 1927, in Blue Lick, she was the daughter of the late George B. McFarland Sr. and Mabel Mounts McFarland. On July 8, 1950, in Boone County, Ark., she married Woodrow R. Day, who preceded her in death June 29, 1965. Mrs. Day attended First Christian Church in Marshall and was a homemaker. She loved to read and do embroidery work.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Conners of Malta Bend; a grandson, Clarence O. Stephenson; a brother, George B. McFarland Jr. of Salida, Colo.; and a sister, Kay Bradley of Marshall.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Dewey MFarland; a sister, Irene McFarland McDaniel Shelby; and a son-in-law, John Mykel Conners.
