  • Great parade, we really enjoyed it. However, I think the only day of the year we can ever accurately predict the weather is the day of the Marshall Christmas Parade. That day, it will be cold.

  • beautiful photo? lol.

can't even see santa's face, the light is too bright and it just isn't a very defined pic, just an average pic.

try kissing your bosses arse a little more?

  • I'm afraid it was a little to cold for me to go out and see santa hope it was a nice parade though.

  • Aikman8, if you were at the parade, I'm sure you noticed that it was more than an hour after the sun had set. To make things even worse for picture taking, the streetlamps on the Square put out a yellowish light. Then, the vehicles and floats had their lights on. All in all, it made for a photographer's nightmare as it relates to lighting. If you were lucky enough to get some better photos of Santa, I'm sure you would be more than happy to post them somewhere. PS Did I mention that it was really, really cold during the parade?

  • Yes indeed OldOwl the lighting for a picture was a nightmare, I agree this is a good picture considering. Cold?! You are very right!! It was nice to see all the people out supporting the kids and the community!!

I have to admit, it is always nice to show up early and watch the people trying to park. Are the people in such a hurry in this town to get no where that they can't wait 30 seconds for a person to back in to a parking spot? I mean holy cow!!

  • This is a dramatic photo - it is art - very appropriate for a dramatic season of the year.
