Teresa Jeannene Harms, 61, of Marshall, died Sunday, Nov. 29. 2009, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall, with Rev. Douglas A. Dubisar officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born June 1, 1948, in Kansas City, she was the daughter of the late John Junior Boar and Delores Clara Jean McRae Boar. On Aug. 23, 1980, in Platte Woods, she married Vern Dean Harms, who preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1996. She had lived in Marshall since 1996, moving from rural Nelson, and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and an artist.
Survivors include one son, John Kramps of New Brunsfield, Texas; one daughter, Melody J. Wilson of Marshall; one stepson, Johnnie Dean Brauer of Green Ridge; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Lynn Shackles of Sedalia and Rayetta Self of Marshall; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Rita Whalen of Marysville, Wash., Becky Cloughly of Marshall and Dea Hall of Sweet Springs; two brothers, James Boar of Marshall and Joseph A. Boar of Kansas City; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John M. Boar and John Edward Boar.
