Dalton Landreth won one of three matches in the 10-and-under 61-pound weight class, pinning an opponent from Iowa for his victory. Ryan Henderson got a 7-5 decision over an Illinois grappler for his one win in three bouts in the 10-and-under 80-pound class.
Nick Hager split four matches in the 10-and-under 85-pound division, getting a pin and 9-2 decision to his credit.
Team Owls will be back on the mat Sunday at a meet in Knob Noster.

The other team is doing their own thing and basically leaving the "new" wrestlers behind in my opinion.
I dont understand. If one team is supported by MHS and MVC, what is the other team doing? Wont they all be wrestling together when they get in high school? Isnt this being counter-productive? The towns perception of wrestling is down right now, there is no way that this can help.
Marshall Youth Wrestling is the team that is supported by MHS & MVC, the other team left Marshall Youth Wrestling club because Jeremy G. wanted to spend all of his time coaching certain kids, like the ones mentioned in the story above.
No Team Owls is not the old Indian Foothills wrestling. There aret two youth teams in Marshall. Team Owls (new this year) and the original Marshall Youth Wrestling Club.
