Mark Eldon Krause, 48, of Greenwood, formerly of Marshall, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Born July 22, 1961, in St. Joseph, he was the son of Marshall E. Krause, who survives of Marshall, and Wanda V. O'Neal Krause, who survives of Blackburn. He had lived in Marshall in his early years attending Southeast Elementary School, graduating from Marshall High School in 1979 and attending Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. On April 7, 1990, he married Stephanie Root. He moved to the Kansas City area when he was an adult and was a salesman.
Additional survivors include two sons, Mark Eldon Krause II and Hunter Marshall Krause of Kearney; two sisters, Diane Borchers of Blackburn and Jennifer Marquess of Marshall; stepmother, Pat Krause of Marshall; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
