On Friday morning, Nov. 20, Marshall Mayor Connie Latimer signed a mayoral proclamation recognizing Nov. 22-29 as National Family Week in Marshall.

Butterfield Youth Services employees collected boxes of food and toys for the 2009 Holiday Project as part of their celebration of the week.

BYS also donated $200 to the cause because "We wanted to help support the families in the area," BYS Executive Director Barb Mayfield said.
