Toni L. Brumit was cited for class A misdemeanor driving on a revoked license at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, and cited again for the same offense at about 1:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, according to a report from Marshall police.
A court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 3, before Judge James T. "Tut" Bellamy; Brumit was released after posting bond Nov. 17.

I actually know Toni, her dad, and her grandma personally. Last I heard, Toni wanted to be an adult, and not have "mommy and daddy telling her what to do."
Well, Toni, welcome to the Adult World. Please stop breaking the law and grow up.
I agree with Gumby and Scarpetta. It is a criminal offense and it is serious. If she doesn't pay attention, she could wind up in jail. Even if she doesn't get anything more than probation, trying to get a job in this lousy economy, with a conviction on her record, will make life pretty ugly pretty quick.
It's surprising how common an offense this is. Too many people think that if their license is revoked, no one will notice. In a town and county this small, your neighbors might know and probably don't care, but the police and deputy sheriffs do know, and they will find you.
A quick casenet search turns up two traffic violations and a charge for illegal credit card use, that charge left her with 2 years probation. Shurly this must be a violation of that probation.
Not to mention nothing on casenet was severe enough to warrant a revocation, leads me to believe this person was a minor. I don't think she's getting the hint.
Driving is not a right, she doesn't deserve to drive.
notgvnasht,
It is a criminal thing and if she keeps it up, it can progress to felony charges. Not a good thing for an 18 year old to go through. She needs to really refrain from driving until she gets her license back, which might be a long time now?
Holy cow, really?! Let's put this person back out on the street. She can't even not drive while revoked for 24 hours. WINNER!! WINNER!! :|
