2 hurt in crash Saturday at Odell Avenue and Highway 240

Two Marshall residents were injured Saturday, Nov. 14, in a collision at the intersection of North Odell Avenue and state Highway 240 in Marshall, according to Marshall police.

Aaron Wright of Marshall and a 7-year-old passenger were taken by Saline County ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred about 3:15 p.m. Wright was southbound on Odell Avenue and was turning onto Highway 240 when his 2001 Ford truck collided with an eastbound 2005 Mercury driven by Jimmy Case of Slater, police said.

No injuries were reported for Case or two passengers in his vehicle, Jaime Cole of Marshall and a 4-month-old child, according to the report.

Police arrived on the scene three minutes after receiving the reporting call, according to the accident report.
