Marshall man hurt Friday in ATV crash in Nodaway County

A 23-year-old Marshall man was seriously hurt in an all-terrain vehicle crash Friday evening, Nov. 13, in Nodaway County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Christopher J. Sullivan was taken by air ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, according to the report.

The crash occured about 5:55 p.m. as Sullivan was driving the ATV on a nature trail one mile north of Conception Junction, according to the Troop H report.

He swerved to miss a deer in the roadway and went off the north side of the trail. The ATV struck an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on Sullivan, troopers said.
