Beginning Oct. 21, Marshall police and members of the Saline County Juvenile Office conducted a joint investigation into the theft of items from more than 10 vehicles in Marshall, said police. Stolen items have ranged from loose change to iPods to clothing to global positioning systems. One vehicle owner also reported his or her vehicle's windshield was broken during a theft.
Total estimated value of the items is more than $2,000, according to the press release.
"Officials obtained confessions from the juveniles, which resulted in several cases being solved" and stolen property being returned to its respective owners, reads the release.
None of the juveniles have been arrested, according to SCJO personnel.
The investigation continues.
