Willetta Sievers

Willetta Sievers, 87, of Ottawa, Kan., passed away on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa. A private memorial service and burial in the Malta Bend. Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or Ransom Memorial Hospital and sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Born Jan. 18, 1922, in Saline County, she was the daughter of Audrey (Plattner) and Willard Fenner. She married Eugene (Pat) Sievers on July 11, 1946, in Marshall. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ottawa, the Dorcas Circle, the Inter Se Group and enjoyed playing bridge.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Seager, and husband Dennis of Olathe, Kan., and Jean Rose and husband Tim of Overland Park, Kan.; five grandchildren, Ryan Seager and wife Erin of Overland Park, Kan., Cari Koster and husband Stan of Singapore, Scott Seager and wife Kristen of Lawrence, Kan., Sarah Rose and Cassandra Rose, both of Overland Park, Kan.; eight great-grandchildren, Kyle, Alexander, and Jacob Seager, Overland Park, Kan.; David, Kourtney and Gabriel Koster, Singapore; Phoebe and Griffin Seager, of Lawrence, Kan.; two sisters-in-law, Ferol Houston of Malta Bend and Bertha Sievers-Traficanti of Nixa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her sister, Florence Vivian Frain of Marshall.
