Frank Brown Jr., 88, of rural Marshall, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Community Cancer Center in Marshall. Born Dec. 10, 1920, in Kansas City, he was the son of the late Frank Brown Sr. and Aileen Miller Brown. On Feb. 14, 1942, he married Veronica Millard, who survives of the home. He had lived in Saline County his entire life and was a farmer.
Additional survivors include two sons, Don Brown and wife, Joyce, of rural Marshall and David Brown and wife, Linda, of rural Marshall; one daughter, Connie Pratt and husband, Richard, of rural Marshall; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Murphy and husband, Elmer Jr., of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
