Glen D. Stanley, 69, of Marshall, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Gail Brown officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Community Cancer Center in Marshall. Born April 21, 1940, in Beech Creek, Ky., he was the son of the late Sanford Stanley and Lizzie Mae Davis Stanley. On Nov. 29, 1980, he married Marcia Lynne Nightwine, who survives of the home. He had lived in Marshall the last 30 years and retired from ConAgra Frozen Foods.
Additional survivors include his children, Amy McCampbell and husband, Dale, of Mendon, Robin Baker and wife, Paulette, of Marshall, and Scott Baker and wife, Jennifer, of Rolla; three sons, not of this area, Glen Stanley Jr., Mark Stanley and David Stanley; seven grandchildren, Sierra Bangs, Andy McCampbell, Haley and Evan Baker, and Brianna, Logan and MacKayla Baker; one sister, Bonnie Vantrepotte and husband, Bob, of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, M.J. "Stan" Stanley and wife, Veona, of Sun City, Ariz.; one sister-in-law, Euberta Stanley, of Malvern, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one daughter, Beth Baker.
