KC woman hurt in 1-vehicle crash on I-70 Friday

A Kansas City woman suffered minor injuries Friday afternoon, Oct. 30, when the car she was driving left the roadway near the 77 mile marker on Interstate 70, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Emily A. Blessing, 26, told troopers she would seek treatment on her own, according to the report.

The accident happened about 1:38 p.m. Blessing was eastbound and went off the left side of the road.

She apparently overcorrected and went off the right side of the roadway, troopers said.

She was wearing a safety device.

Saline County deputies assisted at the scene.
