Sandra S. Yallaly

Sandra S. Yallaly, 73, of Slater, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Fitzgibbon Hospital.

Memorial graveside services are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at 2 p.m. as Slater City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

Born Aug. 18, 1936, in Sioux City, Iowa, she was raised by Harold and Guinevier Berryman. On Oct. 31, 1955, she married Elmer F. Jolliff, who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1996.

She is survived by four sons, Roger Jolliff of Slater, Leonard Jolliff of Garnett, Kan., Jim Jolliff of Baldwin, Kan., David Jolliff of Gardner, Kan.; five daughters, Deborah Morrison of Kansas City, Exie Jolliff of Slater, Barbara Jolliff of Ferdonia, Kan., Betty Lucas of Lawrence Kan., and Patricia Jolliff of Marshall; a step-son, Jack Jolliff of Slater; a step-daughter, Nora Arth of Marshall; 35 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale Berryman of North Carolina.

In addition to Elmer Jolliff, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Wolfe, and a brother, David Berryman.
