According to his wife, Kim, Thomas wasn't feeling well Monday and went to see his physician, Dr. Jack Uhrig. Thomas was sent to Boone Medical Center in Columbia due to an elevated blood pressure and placed in the intensive care unit for one night after undergoing treatment. He was released Wednesday and is resting at home, reportedly feeling much better.
Whether Thomas will be on the sidelines for the Owls NCMC football game Friday at Hannibal, his home town, has yet to be decided.
