Games begin at 9 a.m. each day, with four games scheduled for Saturday and up to four games possible on Sunday, depending on how Saturday's games turn out, said Sue Zacarias, senior human resources specialist at ConAgra Foods.
Two teams of ConAgra employees will compete, as will one team from Cargill Meat Solutions.
The remaining five teams have been invited from around the area, including Sedalia, Zacarias said.
Part of the reason for this tournament, she added, is to "involve the Hispanic community" in efforts to help United Way of Saline County.
Entry to the event costs $3. During the tournament, concessions such as nachos, hamburgers, hot dogs and "Hispanic-style cultural" food will be available for purchase.
All proceeds go to benefit UWSC.
