Tuesday, October 20, 2009
HUGHESVILLE -- Senior Night was a happy one Monday for the Northwest upperclassmen during a 25-7, 25-23 non-conference win at Hughesville over Sweet Springs.

Senior Kristin Jones' knocked down four shots to pace the Lady Greyhounds, while senior Kathleen Tyler had three kills, five digs, six assists and a pair of aces.

"We played slow in Game 1 [and] dwelled on our mistakes," noted Sweet Springs head coach Kristen Niemeyer. The second set, "we came back and played like a team."
