MoDOT announces reopening of Route 127 in Saline County

MoDOT has announced plans to open to traffic the Route 127 bridge over the Blackwater River in Saline County on Friday afternoon, Oct. 16.

The bridge is located at the south edge of Sweet Springs.

The bridge, chosen as a candidate for the Safe & Sound Bridge Program, was closed July 13 to replace the deteriorated bridge deck. The program will replace or repair 802 bridges by October 2014. Seventy-five bridges in north central Missouri are included in the program.
