Sweet Springs volleyball: Concordia 2, Sweet Springs 0

CONCORDIA -- Concordia remained atop the I-70 Conference volleyball standings Tuesday, but visiting Sweet Springs didn't make it easy for the Lady Orioles (11-5-3, 5-0 I-70).

The Lady Greyhounds played tenacious defense, senior Kathleen Tyler coming up with 16 digs and senior Kim Rennison adding 12. Junior Haley Hunter provided three kills and eight saves and senior Kristin Jones put down three shots.

Sweet Springs (7-5, 2-3) will play Saturday in the I-70 Conference Tournament at Centerview.
