Dorothy Holcomb Hitt, 98, of Clinton, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at College View Manor in Joplin.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Hitt of Marshall; one daughter, Nancy Rankin of Joplin; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
