Viola M. Keeling, 91, of Marshall, formerly of Berrien Springs, Mich., died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Born Jan. 19, 1918, in Angola, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Lydy and Maude Getts Lydy. She had lived in Marshall since 2001, moving from Berrien Springs, and was a retired beautician and emergency room aide. She was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and Red Hat Society. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Survivors include one son, Bruce D. Brock and his wife, Linda, of Marshall; two grandchildren, Jennifer Nguyen and her husband, Tan, and Jason Brock and his wife, Keely; and two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Carter Brock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Brock, and one brother, Wilbur Lydy.
