"Late Nite Catechism is a ridiculously funny play that takes the audience back to their youth," according to the news release.
The irrepressible "Sister" teaches class to a roomful of "students" (the audience).
Throughout the course of the class the benevolent instructor rewards the "students" for correct answers with glow-in-the-dark rosaries and other inventive prizes.
Naughty students may well find themselves sitting in a corner reflecting their actions. However, even the most reluctant "students" will be clamoring to get into Sister's "class."
Late Nite Catechism has been described as "uproarious interactive theatre" (The New York Times), "a mavelous portrayal of the Nun with Attitude" (Orange County Register), "Don Rickles in a habit" (Los Angeles Times), and "a laugh filled evening cutting across all faiths...first-rate, a blend of John Wayne drill sergeant and Julie Andrews singing her way through the Alps." (Hollywood Reporter)
Tickets for Late Nite Catechism at the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre on Sept 25-27 are $35.
Tickets are available at the Lyceum Box Office, by calling 660-837-3311 or online at lyceumtheatre.org.
