Sweet Springs Volleyball: Lady 'Hounds get I-70 win

WELLINGTON -- Junior Chelsea Hollrah recorded six aces Tuesday as the Sweet Springs volleyball team won a 25-19, 25-17 I-70 Conference match at Wellington-Napoleon.

Head coach Kristen Niemeyer said the Lady Greyhounds "started slow both games," but then "played well." Altogether, they dropped 14 aces on the Lady Tigers (2-5, 0-2 I-70).

Seniors Kathleen Tyler and Kim Rennison each came up with eight digs, Tyler and junior Taylor Loges both provided four assists and five Sweet Springs players knocked down two shots apiece.

The Lady 'Hounds (5-3, 1-1) will play their third straight league match Monday at Crest Ridge.
