The day before, the Lady Wildcats had dropped an 8-6 non-conference game at Glasgow. The Lady Yellowjackets scored four runs in the fifth inning on three hits, including an RBI single by sophomore Madelyn Brand, a walk and three errors to take a 7-3 lead.
Slater rallied in the seventh with three runs, two scoring on sophomore Betty Goodman's single, but left the bases loaded.
Freshman Trisha McMillan had two hits for Glasgow (3-9), an RBI single in the second and a triple which led to a run in the fourth.
The Lady 'Cats defeated Fayette in the first game Saturday, 7-6, coming from behind with two runs in the sixth to do it.
Senior C.J. Roberts had a two-run double in the first inning and senior Christina Cleek drove in a pair of a second-inning single to stake the Lady Falcons (3-9) to a 6-2 lead.
Slater began its comeback with three runs in the third, two coming in on junior Marissa Weiher's double.
Senior Lexsi Griffith drove in the tying run in the sixth with a single and Goodman stole home with the go-ahead tally.
Sophomore pitcher Brooke Clemons finished with five shutout innings, allowing only two hits, to get the win.
Sturgeon ripped the Lady Wildcats for the second time this season to take the championship, 12-1 in six innings.
The Lady Bulldogs (13-4) were aided by five walks and five errors, also getting a pair of two-run hits from sophomore Krissy Arends. Senior Kelsey Bedsworth only allowed four hits and struck out seven.
The lone Slater run came in the fifth, when sophomore Danielle Allen singled and swiped her way around the base paths.
The Lady Wildcats' Lewis and Clark Conference home tilt Monday against Salisbury was rained out. Slater (3-7) is scheduled to host Marshall today.
