Santa Fe volleyball: No. 4 Lady Chiefs suffer first loss

ALMA -- Freshman Bre Wonderly made her introduction to the I-70 Conference with seven kills and four blocks Tuesday as Crest Ridge upset the fourth-ranked Santa Fe volleyball team, 13-25, 25-13, 25-17.

The Lady Cougars (4-1, 1-0 I-70) got 19 digs from senior Ashton Doak. Statistics for the Lady Chiefs (5-1, 0-1) were unavailable due to a conference meeting today.

Santa Fe is scheduled to play today at Lexington, a match moved up a day due to a schedule conflict.
