White completed nine of 10 passes for 241 yards and five touchdowns Saturday, a year after a 222-yard, two-TD performance, to lead the Gryphons to a 46-0 non-conference victory at Kansas City. Sophomore halfback Bryan Smith, White's Heir apparent at quarterback, added touchdown runs of 58 and 4 yards.
White connected with senior Auston LaBlance for 20 yards during the first quarter and 45 in the second.
Senior Samir Clarkson caught scoring strikes of 46 and 64 yards during the second frame, while sophomore Bryson Winfrey's 10-yard reception in the end zone made it 39-0 at halftime.
Smith rolled to 104 yards on four carries as University Academy (2-0) rolled up 486 yards of offense on only 34 plays.
Junior Ross Tieman ran for 38 yards and passed for 54 for the Chiefs (0-2), who play their first home game Friday against Wentworth Military Academy.
