Sean McGuire, 25, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall, with Rev. Douglas A. Dubisar officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born March 27, 1984, in Sedalia, he was the son of Linda Wyrick Tresler and her husband, Vernon, of Marshall and Patrick McGuire and companion, R. Wayne Bunch, of Louisville, Ky. He had lived in Marshall most of his life and was a 2003 graduate of Marshall High School. On May 4, 2007, he married Dusty A. Mills, who survives of the home. He had worked for Domino's Pizza in Marshall for five years and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Seanua Marie McGuire and Amanda Janelle McGuire, both of the home; one son, Juddia McGuire of Slater and his mother, Jessica Ritchie; one half-brother, Scott Tresler of Marshall; grandparents, Grace McGuire Betz of Marshall, James W. McGuire of Edenburg, Va., Lizzie Wyrick of Marshall and Texas Tresler of Marshall; and great-grandmother, Charlotte A. Scudder of Amherst, Mass.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobbie Wyrick and Jarvis Tresler Sr.; and one half-sister, Amanda Pruitt.
