George Dewese "Pud" Harrison, 90, of Marshall, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in Union Cemetery in Saline County. Born July 6, 1919, in Saline County, he was the son of the late William Lewis Harrison and Irene Hazen Harrison. On Oct. 21, 1951, he married Mary Eileen Norden, who survives of the home. He had lived in Saline County his entire life. He was a farmer and a member of Union Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558.
Additional survivors include one sister, Myrtle Boyd of rural Marshall, and several nieces and nephews.
