According to an incident report filed by Marshall police, Bellamy was stopped Feb. 12 in Marshall, when a law enforcement officer noticed the plates on her vehicle had expired in 1974. Noting the plates were not historic, the officer stopped the vehicle.
During the officer's conversation with Bellamy, the report says, the officer observed a two-year-old passenger in the front seat, unrestrained by a seat belt or other required safety device.
The officer, observing Bellamy to be nervous, asked and was granted permission to search the vehicle, the report continues. Although nothing was found in the vehicle, Bellamy was asked to turn her pants pockets out and did so, revealing the presence of the schedule IV drug clonazepam.
According to the probable cause statement filed by Prosecuting Attorney Donald G. Stouffer, Bellamy has a criminal history for driving while revoked and a drug violation.
Charges contained in reports provided by law enforcement officials are not evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting charges must be presented before a jury, whose duty is to determine if the accused is guilty or not guilty of the charges.

Why was the warrent issued along time after the stop? Because Stouffer likes to have his puppets go on fishing trips before he does anything, You can get aressted post bond then he can issue a warrent for your aresst on the first charge so they can pick you up agian, you lose your bond and get put back in jail.
psych101: You will have to ask the prosecuting attorney about that. It's not the first time (and probably won't be the last) that the warrant doesn't follow closely on the heels of the alleged offense.
quick question...if she was pulled over back in february why is there just now a warrant issued for her arrest?
My prayers go out for the three small children who will be without their mother in this tradgedy.I pray the judicail system will help this young woman face her demons and put her life back together for her children. if society doesn't offer the help these people need to beat these drug addictions. then we will only continue to fill prisons with people like this who if given the right oppurtunities could become something else.i do not excuse the behavior. but do believe it is a treatable disease. the work will be up to her. may god be with all involved
