Sweet Springs woman suffers minor injury in collision Thursday

A Sweet Springs woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Lafayette County Thursday afternoon, Aug. 6, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

April L. Guffin, 41, told troopers she would seek treatment on her own, according to the report.

The accident occurred at 3:30 p.m. on County Line Road about 50 feet west of Dunksberg Road. Guffin was southbound in a 2000 Dodge and Edward B. Strobel, 25, of Concordia was northbound when both vehicles entered a blind curve, troopers said.

Guffin's vehicle struck the left front whel of the 2004 John Deere sprayer driven by Strobel, according to the report.

There was no report of injury to Strobel.

Both drivers were wearing safety belts, troopers said.
