Sandra Louise Cartee

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m.

She was born June 29, 1939, in Kansas City. She married John W. Cartee Jan. 18, 1958, in Marshall. She was a long-time member of Gladstone Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was loved and will be missed by many.

She leaves behind her husband, John Cartee; her mother, Louise Treece; one brother, Donald Newman; two sons, John W. Cartee II and his wife, Joann, and Scott W. Cartee and his wife, Kathy; one daughter, Lynn R. Cartee; four grandchildren, Wes, Jared, Laine and Jennifer; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe W. Newman.
