Warrants issued for 2 teens accused of theft from vehicles, garages

Arrest warrants have been issued in Saline County for two area teens who have been charged with class C felony receiving stolen property of more than $500, according to court documents released by the Saline County Sheriff's Department.

Aaron Michael Schlatweiler, 17, of Sweet Springs, and Anthon Robert Smith, 17, of Emma, are accused taking a number of items from vehicles and garages Saline County.

The two have also been implicated in recent thefts in Lafayette and Pettis counties.

Bond in Saline County has been set at $5,000 cash only for each boy.
