Jordan Michael Adams

Jordan Michael Adams, 20, of Hughesville, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, in Pettis County, as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Tipton. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born June 30, 1989, in Marshall, he was the son of Michael W. Adams of rural Hughesville and Kimberly Coon Adams of Marshall. He was a 2007 graduate of Marshall High School and attended University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, where he was a member of the Honor's College and on the Dean's List.

Additional survivors include one sister, Michenna Lynn Adams of Hughesville; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Kay Adams of Tipton; maternal grandfather, Glen Coon of Hamilton; maternal grandmother, Pauline Phillips of Corvallis, Ore.; two uncles, Rob Adams and his wife, Debbie, of California and Keith Coon and his wife, Laura, of Butler; one aunt, Sharon DeBard and her husband, Carl, of Parker, Colo.; and four cousins.
