Two Sweet Springs residents and two Houstonia residents suffered moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash involving a deer Saturday afternoon, July 18, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

The accident occurred about 3:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 50 in Morgan County near the west end of the Lamine River bridge, troopers said.

The two passengers were taken by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia. The two drivers were taken to Bothwell Hospital by private vehicle, troopers said.
