Dolores O'Conner, 77, of Marshall, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Fr. Tom Alber officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born Sept. 24, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Frank Alessandro and Nancy LaPenna Alessandro. She had lived in Marshall since 1983, moving from Richmond, and was a Catholic. She had worked at Marshall Habilitation Center for 19 years, and then worked for the Foster Grandparent Program.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Weber and her husband, Richard, Brenda Rohde and her husband, John, Charlene Clemons and her husband, David, of rural Slater and Pam Arnold and her husband, Ray, of Marshall; one son, Frank O'Conner and his wife, Juanita, of Marshall; nine grandchildren, Angela Weber, Johnny Rohde Jr., Heather Rohde, Lisa Rohde, David Rohde, Nancy Surber, Nathan Cassidy, Nicholes Cassidy and Nicole Cassidy; five step-grandchildren, Sherry Ballenger, Shelly Beeler, Jessica Arnold, Rachel Arnold and Kathleen Arnold; and several great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Alessandro and Charles Alessandro.
