Bricks and stones from the foundation of the house have been wrapped in plastic and set to the side of the home's driveway. Thompson said he has already sold some to people in the area, and has plans to sell the rest.
Anyone interested in purchasing these bricks and stones can contact Thompson at 660-886-5665.

Shame on Larry McClure! Shame on Marshall city officials! Shame on all of us that were aware that this historic landmark was to be demolished! We all deserve some blame for allowing an irreplaceable 127 year old majestic home of Marshall's past to be destroyed. Most of the blame should be on Mr McClure who allowed the house to be so encumbered with liabilities it could not be sold and was responsible for maintaining it as long as he owned the property.
Take that Judge Lawrence McClure! When we want vengeance, and vindication we know how to eradicate all reminders of a presence.
It's very sad to see any home that's served so well for so long be demolished. However, there are times to just move on. . .
Perhaps there are other parts of the home, besides its foundation materials, that were salvaged and will find their way into other vintage or even new homes.
