Deputies investigate domestic disturbance

Saline County Sheriff's deputies were called to a Marshall residence Thursday, July 2, by a Wisconsin resident who reported her daughter, who lives in Marshall, had been the victim of a domestic assault.

An incident report filed with the Sheriff's Department alleges the victim and an adult male with whom she resided got into an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation.

The report also said the victim alleges the incident was not the first such incident between the two.

Deputies reported the male was advised to leave the residence for a 12-hour "cooling off" period, and accompanied him off the property.
