Wyoming man hurt in Saline County crash Thursday

A Hillsdale, Wyo., man suffered minor injuries Thursday morning, July 2, in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 70, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

David L. Villmer, 17, was hurt when the 1998 Dodge Dakota he was driving eastbound on I-70 left the roadway, went through the median, became airborne at the Blackwater River bridge and came to rest upright, troopers said.

Villmer was taken by Sweet Springs ambulance to I-70 Community Medical Center, according to the report.

Saline County sheriff's deputies assisted at the scene.
